Ellisville, MO is the third largest of the St Louis counties, with a population of 7,611. It's located in the western portion of St. Clair County, just south of Kansas City. It's on the eastern side of the Mississippi River, bordering the Mississippi River Watershed. Ellisville is a southern suburb of St Louis County, Missouri. Ellisville has many small towns, but they are all located on the eastern edge of St Clair County, where the Missouri River flows into Lake St. Clair. Some neighborhoods around Ellisville, MO is relatively new, and are in the middle-class neighborhood of Maplewood Park. It's about two miles from downtown. Ellisville also has a very important school, which is the Stearns School. It's located on the south side of the Mississippi River. This makes it an excellent place to live for families since it's right next to Lake St Clair. Ellisville's central part is in the southern part of St Clair County, so it's right next to the major metropolitan area and easily accessible. This means that there are plenty of opportunities for job opportunities, along with lots of educational opportunities.
