The Arabia Steamboat Museum is a Kansas City, Missouri treasure home to the most extensive collection of pre-Civil War artifacts in the world. The museum was founded in 1988 by Bob and Sharon White after they discovered a sunken steamboat called Arabia while scuba diving on the Missouri River. The Whites recovered more than 200,000 items from the wreck, including dishes, clothing, tools, and furniture.
